If this is not working via your file manager. Make sure to check the box with language like "Is executable" From there in the permissions tab, make sure "Is executable" or however your file manager presets the option is checked. Most File Managers should let you right click the appimage and click properties. From here, the appimage needs to be made executable. Its located at ~/appsĬopy or move the appimage that was downlaoded into the new folder. I setup a folder in my home folder to keep appimage files in. If going the appimage route, from there the file needs to be made executable. Select the appropriate OS from the list on the download page. The recommended way to install the Linux version is via an app image.
