Naturally, I am also a big fan of LEGO Lord of the Rings, and when the theme was officially announced, I made it a point to collect every single set released, even though at the time, I didn’t have a lot of disposable income and my LEGO budget isn’t as big as it is today. JRR Tolkien’s books and Peter Jackson’s trilogy were incredibly important parts of my childhood and teenage years, and to this day, I make it a point to either re-read the trilogy or The Silmarillion, or rewatch the Extended Trilogy once a year.
